|Pastor Phil Alexander graduated from Baldwin-Wallace University in 1971 with a degree in Spanish Language Education. He worked for many years in sales and marketing for Monsanto’s Engineering Thermoplastics Division prior to entering Concordia Seminary in Ft. Wayne, graduating in 1997. He has served churches in Ohio, Florida and New England where he retired in 2016 and moved with wife Cheryl to be near their grandchildren. Pastor Alexander was called to serve Living Savior in 2017 as an assistant pastor. The Alexander’s have three children: James, in Massachusetts, Justin, in Maine, Nicole, in Lake Oswego.|
|Jim Pressnell and his family have been members of Living Savior for over ten years. Having graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in 1982, Jim’s first call was to Nigeria, living among the Ekajuk people as an LCMS Bible Translator. Jim also served as a parish pastor for two congregations in Ohio. He also spent ten years working as a management consultant with clients not only in the U.S., but also in places like Kuwait and Venezuela. For the past 20 years, Jim has served in executive leadership roles in Christian higher education and Christian non-profit organizations working internationally.
Currently, Jim is serving as Executive Director of These Numbers have Faces, educating, equipping, and empowering university students in Rwanda to make a transformative difference in their communities through the love of Jesus. Jim and his wife, Linda, are members of Living Savior along with their two children, Abby and Zechariah.
